“I am developing a Board development programme from scratch at my new company and haven’t done one before.
So far, I have prepared a matrix with suggested topics, asking Board members to say what their priorities and interests are, and suggesting whether these can be covered in a Board, after a Board or as a separate session and whether external speakers are needed or I as Co Sec will do the training.
It would be extremely helpful to know what other companies do – and whether anyone would be prepared to share their development programme either here or via David (at: dm@equitycomms.com ) please?”

I do ; Directors’ duties, Info Security, Contracts. Finance Director or myself cover Financial development (both internal, technical and macro economic). Other areas tend to get covered off in Exec sessions as they arise.
