“We have recently updated our Group Document Retention policy, which composes of the policy itself and a schedule of retention periods for a number of documents.  However we are increasingly being asked what is the statutory retention period for documents not covered by the policy and whilst we are never going to capture everything in the policy is anybody aware of any particular book/website/person/service provider that we could refer to?  The only book currently at our disposal is the ICSA Guide to Document Retention by Andrew Hamer which is fine for Co Sec specific documents but doesn’t expand beyond this.  If you are aware of anything we would be grateful to know.”
