A FTSE250 Legal Director & Company Secretary writes...
Does anyone have any experience of mentors for a FTSE 250 company secretary who is new to role? I would be interested in hearing from anyone who either acts as a mentor or has any recommendations. Ideally, I would be looking to meet for perhaps an hour once a month initially (first 6 months) and then potentially every other month (for a further 6 months). The main areas of focus would be navigating relationships at board level and the board room (less so on technical skills).
I have not come across a Co Sec mentor, but would be happy to have a discussion (from a Co Sec/GC of some 25+ years across FTSE, and AIM).
