Do you, or do you know of any companies who webcast the AGM to the internet – or do you have any plans to do so?

We don’t webcast our AGM and have no current plans to do so. We have more or less the same 50 people turn up each year – there is no apparent appetite for a wider broadcast from our shareholder base.

We webcast – on a one minute delay – and have done so for a number of years without issue. The original driver was our large shareholder base.

We dont – but then we do get around 70 private shareholders who turn up to enjoy a pasty and a glass of wine……

Like others we don’t webcast and have no immediate plans to do so.

No we have never webcast the AGM.

Perhaps the registrars have stats on their clients who do webcast?

We don’t webcast our AGM and don’t intend doing so. Our shareholder base is largely UK based.

I am aware of a number of FTSE 100 companies that do Webcast their AGM’s and have the recording available on their website after the fact. These companies are primarily companies that have a large shareholder bases outside of the UK. Those with ADR’s as an example.

We don’t webcast as our shareholder base is predominately UK.

We don’t webcast and don’t intend to do so in the short or medium-term.

We webcast our 2014 AGM, and this was the first time we had done so.

There were two reasons – half our equity is held outside the UK and there had been adverse press comment that we were “inaccessible” and secondly much of the CEO’s presentation was aimed at stakeholders outside the UK.

We broadcast the chairman’s opening remarks, and the CEO’s presentation but stopped before the Q&A – we were advised that some private shareholders object to this – and did not broadcast the formal business either. The webcast is now available on our website.
