A provider can be an outsourced provider or a legal entity database provider, not clwar which is being asked about here and respondents have mentioned which legal entity database they use.
I am doing a review for a large private organisation in 31 countries who use TMF as their provider with good feedback, but for the UK they are thinking of changing from Diligent to Athennian, does anyone have experience of that change or using Athennian please?
Last year we moved from Diligent Entities to KUBE. This new system works well, allows for read-only access across our Group for those who might be interested in the data held (Group Finance, Tax, Legal, etc.) , with the reporting capabilities much easier and less ‘clunky’ than other systems. The costs are also much more competitive.
I have used global entity management services in the past currently we only do this is a couple of jurisdictions but when you have 50+ you have to really to keep the costs and the management time down. I have used BDO for this service when I worked for a FTSE 100, and other providers when at a FTSE 250. You might want to consider a tender process as there are a number of providers for this service.
Yes we use Diligent entities and this works well.
We use GEMS by Computershare. A bit clunky as it’s an old system developed in stages rather than redesigned and modernised but it does its work. If you build a good relationship with the team they can customise solutions for you.
