A FTSE250 Company Secretary writes...
We use DocuSign for signing documents electronically. We are now looking into adding QES capability and would be interested in hearing from other Secretariats using this functionality for electronic signatures in Europe. Specifically, do the signatories find it easy to use and do they use the notary service included at all and what is this like? Would anyone be prepared to discuss their experience of it? The cost of the additional functionally is almost as much as the existing annual licence and while some costs associated with getting documents certified would probably be reduced, the benefits are not clear cut.
If you are willing to discuss your experience with the questioner, do please let me know, (dm@equitycomms.com) and I will put you in touch.
I’m afraid i can’t add much to the discussion, other than to say we don’t use docusign and would not see the need for the QES capability. We have a friendly notary nearby and can use him for all our needs
